Here's what we're working with - a Lemken Rubin 12 disc cultivator tongue that came in showing some serious fatigue. This is exactly the kind of repair that can't wait. A compromised tongue on a piece of tillage equipment like this is a safety issue and a downtime issue all rolled into one.

We got the tongue up on the fab table, prepped the damaged areas, and got to grinding before laying down the welds. You can see the sparks flying - that's the prep work that most people skip but it's what makes a repair actually hold up in the field under load. No shortcuts here.

This is a substantial structural component. The tongue takes constant stress every time that machine gets hitched up, pulled across a field, or loaded onto a trailer. Getting the geometry right and the welds solid is what separates a real repair from a band-aid fix. We take that seriously.

At Tomcat's Welding and Fabrication, this kind of ag equipment repair work is our wheelhouse. Whether it's a tongue, a frame crack, a broken hitch point, or fabricating a replacement part that's no longer available - we handle it. Getting equipment back in service fast matters, especially during the busy season when every day counts.

If your ag equipment is showing wear, cracks, or outright damage, don't let it sit. Bring it in and we'll take a look at what it needs to get back to work.
