Big commercial builds don't slow down - and neither do we. Our WABO certified welder is currently embedded with a construction crew, keeping the job moving while the framing, steel posts, and canopy work all come together at once.
WABO certification isn't just a credential to hang on the wall. It means the welder on your job site has been tested and verified to meet Washington state's structural welding standards. On a commercial build like this - where canopies, clips, and custom brackets all have to tie in correctly - that level of qualification matters. One bad weld in the wrong place creates real problems down the line.
What we're doing here is exactly the kind of work that gets overlooked until it goes wrong. Canopy support structures, connection clips, custom steel brackets - these pieces have to be fabricated right and installed right. We handle both sides of that. Fabrication happens in our shop, and then our guys show up on-site to make sure everything fits and welds out the way it's supposed to.
That's the thing about working alongside a construction crew - you have to be ready to move when they move. Our team integrates directly with the crew on the ground, which cuts down on delays and keeps everyone working toward the same schedule. No waiting around for a sub to show up. We're already there.
Whether it's a full canopy system, structural clips, or one-off fabricated parts that need to fit into a larger build, Tomcat's Welding and Fabrication has the certified people and the commercial experience to get it done on-site and on time.
